My name is Mia Chen and I am a senior at JSerra Catholic High School in Orange County, California.

My passion for nutrition came to life from seeing many people struggling with healthy eating habits in my hometown of West Philadelphia. Seeing the resulting high rates of obesity, diabetes and heart disease firsthand was my call to action.

I love baking everything from simple chocolate chip cookies to French macarons, and I do my best to prioritize healthy choices in my everyday life. Through Baking Buddies, my aspiration is to provide accessible and helpful resources for other young adults to learn to bake delicious yet nutritional food for themselves and their loved ones.
